Liberty Union Lions Varsity Can’t Catch Up To Granville
Liberty Union Lions Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 12-4 loss to Granville on Tuesday. Granville scored on a double by Garman in the first inning, a double by Gunmere in the first inning, a grand slam by Gilliam in the first inning, a error in the second inning, and a wild pitch during Gilliam’s at bat in the second inning.
The Liberty Union Lions Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Granville, giving up 12 runs.
Granville got things started in the first inning when Garman doubled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.
