Liberty Union competed in the Central District Swim Meet in Athens on Friday. The Lady Lions had a strong meet, as they finished 8th out of 40 teams. Lions Swimming Has Strong Showing in Sectional Meet

The Liberty Union swim team competed in Sectionals at Columbus Academy over the weekend, with the Lady Lions finishing 5th out of 22 teams. Advancing to Districts at Ohio University on Friday are Grace Hoover (200 IM and 100 back), Kylee Arnold (100 fly and 100 breast), and Taci Miller (200 free and 500 free).

Bressler Named MSL Buckeye Division Wrestler of the Year

Luke Bressler was named the MSL Buckeye Division Wrestler of the Year. Bressler went 7-0 in the league with six pins and a tech fall. Liberty Union competed Monday night in a meet against Lancaster, Fairfield Union, Fisher Catholic and Amanda Clearcreek. Leading the Lady Lions was Kylee Arnold who won the 200 free (2:13.35) and the 100 free (101.90) and was a member of the winning 200 free relay squad (1:57.59) with Taci Miller, Grace Hoover, and Reagan Carter.
